Welcome to The Millennium Centre and thank you for visiting our website. 

The Millennium Centre is a highly successful post 16 partnership between Littleover Community School and Derby Moor Community Sports College which has been rated as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in both of their most recent inspections.  We have a reputation for academic excellence with students consistently performing well above national averages.  Approximately 95% of our students go on to study at university having completed a range of AS and A level subjects. 

While we are proud of our high academic standards, we also recognise the importance of providing students with an enjoyable and enriching experience throughout their time at the Centre.  We offer a wide range of timetabled enrichment sessions in addition to a detailed tutorial programme designed to broaden the experiences of students, develop students as well rounded individuals and prepare them thoroughly for life at university and beyond.

From September 2013 the Millennium Centre partnership will be loosened and the two schools will begin to offer their own post 16 provision.   This means that we are no longer accepting any applications to the Centre.  However, students may of course apply to Littleover Community School Sixth Form and/or Derby Moor Community Sports College Sixth Form independently for entry from 2013 onwards.  For more information about these changes please select the 'Changes to the Millennium Centre' link from the menu on the left of this page.
